WHY Faux FLOWERS?

These aren’t your grandma’s fake flowers.
This isn’t just business. This is personal.
I’ve been in the wedding industry for over 15 years, but my love for florals started long before I ever held a bouquet professionally. What most people don’t know is that I’m allergic to fresh flowers.
Yep. A florist who can’t work with fresh flowers.
For years, I watched from the sidelines, admiring the beauty, the artistry, the emotional weight that flowers carry on a wedding day, but I thought it wasn’t something I could ever fully be part of. The sneezing, the swelling, the constant discomfort… it just didn’t seem sustainable.
And then I stumbled into the world of faux and dried flowers. Not the stiff, plastic-looking ones from decades ago, but ultra-realistic, soft-to-the-touch, incredibly detailed blooms that looked just like the real thing. I was hooked. Suddenly, I could create with complete freedom, no allergies, no limitations, no worries about whether something would wilt before the ceremony started.
It felt like magic.

Why Faux & Dried Florals Are Worth Considering
When people hear “faux flowers,” they often think of something dusty on a windowsill or a plastic outdated arrangement from years ago. But trust me, the flowers we use today are on a whole different level.
The materials we work with include high-end real-touch blooms, silk florals, dried botanicals, preserved stems, and even hand-shaped wood flowers. These elements are artfully combined to mimic the natural texture, shape, and softness of fresh flowers. Down to the petal count, these blooms look and feel real, so real that photographers and guest often don’t realize they aren’t fresh until we tell them.
Here’s why I believe they’re a perfect choice for weddings
Aside from being allergy-friendly, these blooms offer a level of versatility and sustainability that fresh flowers just can’t compete with.

They’re stress-free. No need to worry about temperature, weather, or timing. They’re ready when you are and won’t wilt, bruise, or droop. Your flowers will look just as perfect at the end of the night as they did when you walked down the aisle.
They can be repurposed and reused. Ceremony flowers can be moved to the reception space, used for portraits, and even enjoyed long after the big day as a keepsake. By reusing, renting, or keeping your florals, you’re reducing waste and making a more eco-conscious choice.
They’re completely customizable. No worrying about what’s in season or available. You can have peonies in December or a color palette that’s uniquely you.
They’re travel-friendly. Planning a destination wedding or elopement? Faux florals travel beautifully, no refrigeration or water needed.
